Don't Settle For Inferior Rewards.
When you buy anything with a credit card, make sure you get 3% to 5% cash
back using a rewards credit card. Don't settle for a paltry
1% or 2% as many Americans do -- why let the
credit card companies keep all that money?!
If You Carry A Balance...
Instead of paying high interest rates,
get a card that lets you transfer balances and pay 0% interest for fifteen months.
Of course, the card company hopes you'll use it enough to pay them a lot
of money in the long run.
Another idea is to call your credit card company and ask for
a rate reduction (it's more likely to work than you might think.) You can also reduce rates
by using a home equity loan, a debt management program,
your 401(k) plan, your life insurance policy, or kindly relatives.

Are You Getting Your Fair Share?
When you use a credit card, the credit card company
gets a fee of up to 3% from the merchant -- a cost that is of course
passed on to you the customer. If your rewards card
pays less than 3%, you're sending free money to the
credit card company!
